ATTENTION ALL SILVER ARROWS PILOTS:
In our efforts to help our Dom'Kavash allies isolate threats from the United Dom forces jumping into Weth, we have been asked to perform a long-range sensor drop operation on a nearby planet to the Weth system jumpgate in the Ryssk system.

Once this sensor is in place and functioning correctly, the Dom'Kavash will be able to better isolate where the United Dom forces are jumping from, whether it's through the Weth system jumpgate there or by another device or method in the system or some other system they control here in the Inner Core sector. The sensor itself is hardened to withstand the abuse of the planet's environment (or lack thereof) and weather as well as employing stealth measures and using undetectable frequencies to avoid any chance of detection by United Dom sensor arrays. This mission should be best done by a capital ship vessel for the sensor drop and a heavy contingent of escort fighters will be a big plus as well to keep any enemy fighters or capital ship groups from reporting back to their main forces from our jamming devices operating while we are conducting this mission, namely the Dom'Razaks and Warriors operating there.

Our target location and objective is planet Daytai, located at coordinates 3E/F, nearby a Dom'Razak station in the Ryssk system. It would be wisest to conduct this mission on the darkside of the planet away from the Dom'Razak base as well.

MISSION ORDERS:
SCRAMBLE ALL AVAILABLE ESCORT FIGHTERS AND A TRANSPORT SHIP TO TARGETED SYSTEM'S COORDINATES, PERFORM A LONG-RANGE SENSOR DROP, DESTROY ALL MET ALIEN RESISTANCE WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE!

(Objective: Perform a sensor drop on planet Daytai by keeping a capital ship in orbit near the planet for a total of 15 minutes, keep all United Dom fighters and capital ships away from the capship at all costs while the timed drop is performed. Destroy any and all hostiles at will while this operation is performed, regroup and dock at Mirtrrak Battle Station in the Weth system when primary objective is complete.)

I have received the transmission and have warmed up the Enjarius's engines and weapons. She'll be ready to handle the sensor drop. In case a battleship or larger class ship is called in, I will also have Omega-9 standing by.

Yes, let's keep to the scheduled time if at all possible, I know there are many who have had time changes recently, but let's keep it at that for consistency's sake, as long as you all agree that it will work with your schedule!

If we can get everyone together before our set time of departure, we can leave earlier too though if everyone agrees to it, we'll just play it by ear once we get in space. I think the key thing is we need to get the word out a few hours before the mission begins so people can have time to get to Omega-3 or the Inner Core system. Someone who has universe chat capability on the server will be very helpful with this as well!

UPDATE:

The SA_Heidelberg Gunship (Redemption forthose that don't read the status boards) is currently undergoing trails in IC and I must say she is performing exceptionally well.

She is even making money while there, so she is paying for her own next scheduled service and Sensor Upgrade.

In spite of my initial observation this was going to be a rather poor turnout for a expedtion, thankfully I was wrong!

Thank you Riebens, Forlon, (SMG)Hexplore, BG_Husker, [UR]Verbose and Inflkt for joining the mission and for Revelations maiden expedition! Primary objective was completed, even though after dropping of the sensor, Revelations was jumped by Razak fighters and scuttled... Regardless, I rejoined the fleet later to complete the mission and verify the sensors signal and operation. I rejoined the rest of the fleet and took down a cruiser and surprisingly a number of fighters.

The Dom'Kavash should now be able to better verify the United Dom jump locations into Weth with the long-range sensor probe active on planet Daytai.

Thanks to all participants for a fun time and lots of destroyed Doms! Thumbsup
