ATTENTION ALL SILVER ARROWS PILOTS:
Due to a request from our GMG comrades and directly by the GMG High Council, we have been commissioned in this expedition to retrieve the bodies, flight recorders and any other usable salvage from the various GMG wrecks throughout the hostile United Dom occupied systems of the Inner Core. Granted, some of these are nearly impossible to reach via conventional methods due to the hazards of proximity mines or volatile gases, therefore we will unfortunately have to avoid those GMG wreck locations. The remaining GMG wrecks in the Inner Core sector will be retrieved at a later date.

If possible, I would like to mobilize Omega Wing for this mission to take on any met resistance on this expedition. However, if we cannot form an bare minimum Omega Wing compliment, we will bring just standard VHFs to complete the mission.

Our objectives are known GMG wrecks, indicated by the red "X"s, in the systems of Venn, Celldra, Pyrddra, Mepther and Ryssk.

SCRAMBLE ALL AVAILABLE FIGHTERS TO TARGETED SYSTEM'S COORDINATES FOR RECOVERY OPERATIONS, DO NOT ENGAGE HOSTILES UNLESS YOU ARE DISRUPTED, DESTROY ANY MET ALIEN RESISTANCE WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE!

(Objective: Find all the indicated GMG Wrecks and tractor in their contents, return them to Mirtrrak Battle Station in the Weth system! TAKE NOTE, this is a "do-over" mission that previously failed! UUUU CAN DO EEEEETTT!!! )

I've wondered what the hell's at Venn at F7 that's so deadly. Is it really nasty volatile gas pockets? Super-fast radiation? Or an unexplained alien mystery? Razz

Alright everyone, a big FAT FUDPALM for me, I have a prior engagement already planned this afternoon out of town. Here are you options:

1. Someone can take over the expedition and do it today...

2. We can postpone the expedition till tomorrow, at the same time!

Let me know what you ladies and gents want to do ASAP! Again I apologize for this inconvenience and change of plans guys, I really need to get me a damn calender to mark events on or daily planner or something... *sigh* Fudpalm

UPDATE

I am also eager to go today if someone else ( like my beta wing leader ) is going to lead the expedition, but we need at least a Capship and a Gunboat and then 3-4 VHFs for this to be successfull.

I have learned, there is no fAST IN/OUT in IC .. biggrin

INFO: As of this writing, SA_Fraise is grounded due to a thunderstorm in her launchpad area ....

What I read today: Faaby, Riebens, Rasann, Petite .. 4 ships is enough for this expedition.

We nearly got our backsides handed to us, but human teamwork carried the day.

The Aliens definitely got a shield and hull upgrade, and the ability to fly at our cruise speed and fire missiles and guns.

They also seem to turn and accellerate faster ... Heavy fighters handle like light fighters, and the lights are jumping rabbits.

I will report later on my findings on possible upgrades to the aliens ..as there were good conenctions and only a few yellow lags towards the end...

They indeed seem to have some serious tactical upgrades. I fought them a couple days ago & they are definately alot tougher to kill. Even with their new strengths, they still could not defeat the combined forces of SA & gT.
