Commander Kirkland retiring

It is with profound sadness that the Silver Arrows Command announces the retirement of Commander Peter Kirkland, also known by his callsign FUD. The Commander's reasons to leave his functions are being held by the Silver Arrows Chief Officer, Fleet Admiral Sam Thomas, for privacy.

Commander FUD was well known for his preference of piloting every type of capital ships into the battlefield and for his legendary sense of humor. Fortunately, the Silver Arrows members will be able to keep in touch with their comrade because Cmdr. Kirkland already announced he would make a stop by the SAC bar from time to time.

Commander Kirkland was also very generous to donate all his equipment to the clan so it may be used for other members. May he enjoy life away from the battle field, Commander Kirkland earned it.

On a final note, this news leaves the position of Assistant-Director of the Department of Staff and Resources empty. No word yet has been given whether this position will be filled in the short term or not. SAC personnel will have to review the situation before giving any more info.

I'm Flattuered to see that your all shocked to se me go. And I am pretty sad I am leaving my self. It was great flying with you guys. But now I think it is time to settle down on a nice remote planet of some sort and fall asleep for an enternity or 2. Maybe when I come back. Seqan would be 13046... He would have deffinatly produced some wrinkles then XD. Good luck guys. Hope you use my Equipment wisely. Don't exploit it. or be greedy. There is enough for everyone... Try to Keep SA_ArcticServant_FUD in tack though. She is not for SA I am afraid. All others may be used though. But do not sell the ships. I still wish you would reconsider retirement and just take an extended leave of absence until further notice... I know crap happens, but I doubt you will stay from CF forever, besides I know you're drooling over the 1.9 capships... Like a chocolate addict, you cannot resist the delicious capital ship goodness that is Crossfire 1.9. biggrin

Methinks you'll return sometime after the release of CF 1.9... Wink

Don't make it hard for me guys. It's tough enough as it is. But My mind is set. If you don't mind. I wouldn't mind if you could maybe protect my Ships from curroptiong when CF 1.9 appears. It would be most disappointing to see them all gone if I come back.

She is a Beautiful design sir. But I can see that is looks like a cross between Osiris and Liberty BS. She is slim therefore she can access Asteroid fields easily which is best for IC missions. But she also looks dangerous and I can see no pirate will dare set foot on such a ship. You have done well for your self sir. Smile

Congrats. Maybe as celebration for CF 1.9 I will give her a fly around New york and if I am lucky. One last IC mission. I think it was ages ago since I last went on one of those... Maybe someone can give me a Weeks notice via E-mail and I will try my hardest to be there for the big day. As a final good bye Wink

I am retiring. Not neccersarily leaving. I'll be at HQ now and again if I get a chance. Anyway. I suppose there is no real reason why I am "leaving" just that I don't realy feel it was the same as it used to. And I can't say I see anyone other than Forlon on these days. So I decided that my Ships would be better off shared to all of you Smile

And also I have Exams going on for 3 years and I can't have extended leave that long. Don't worry guys. I might be back when I am 30 or something... Gosh... Arrow will be 39 XD. Intersting. I will be looking forward to seeing you all then... And seeing myself as well. XD That would be a laugh.
