Cmdr Peter Kirkland appointed as Staff and Resources Assistant-Director

The Silver Arrows Command authorized yesterday the appointment of Commander Peter Kirkland (SA_FUD), to the post of Assistant-Director of the Department of Staff and Resources.

The Director of the Staff and Resources, Rear-Admiral Martind Forlon told about his choice: "Sometimes we all have good choice right under our noses and simply not see it. I searched for some time a right person, because I want do my department duties best as possible and I also had criteria, which I feel as absolute necessary for this position. My first selection were older, by age, SA members and this was not the best start choice. Then I got suggestion about ours young Commander (our leader is wise man) and the more I thought about it, it seemed to me that idea better. At end I did decision and ask directly Fud about this."

Commander Kirkland reply was simple: "I would do anything of course to help the silver arrows, I'd love to take up this job... Now what do I have to do? " Rear-Admiral Martind Forlon continue: "Once more was confirmed that age is not so important when it come to need to do some work, and I want this way apologize for my bad start selection."

Commander Kirkland is now on important position and he will be soon really busy man, because some urgent works in Department is need to do. In last time were things solved with delays and with new active officer could be jobs done much smoothly. There is also prepared first important task for new Assistant-Director and will be really interesting watch how he will able handle it.
