Bretonian Hunt

New London and Cambridge Systems were the theatre of an intense bounty hunt today as a Kusari Battleship captained by Johny_Walker was target by return Silver Arrows Fleet Admiral Sam Thomas, Lt. Commander Hayter and Lt. Morangie.

The Battleship was first spotted in the New London System launchign from Thames Outpost. After a first unsuccessful encounter with SA_ARROW, The Battleship repelled SA_SNAKE's and SA_WHISKY's attacks. Walker then escaped to Cambridge where he was met by Lt. Cmdr Hayter above Planet Cambridge. Quickly joined by F-Adm. Thomas the Mercenaries were able to disactivate the Kusari Battleship's shields however without being able to make much damage to the hull.

The escaping target then met Lt. Morangie near Cardiff station and then fled towards the Norfolk where Walker met SA_SNAKE and SA_ARROW again. Facing the two opponents, the Battleship engaged its cruise engines and fled towards Planet Cambridge again.

It is finally near the Trade Lane linking the New London Jump Gate and Planet Cambridge that was intercepted and destroyed Johny_Walker. F-Adm was quoted as saying : "Right after we returned from a meeting on Sol, we spotted that a bounty had been put on Walker's head. Together with Lt. Morangie and Lt.Cmdr. Hayter, we scrambled to intercept and collect the Bounty. It was been a tough chase and the boys did an incredible job today. I am glad to see that the Silver Arrows pilots are capable to pull up such a good team work." Silver Arrows earned a bounty of 20 Millions credits for this hunt. Fleet Admiral Thomsa collect to more on the head of |LC|Vol` and |LC|Capt.Ahab.
