Left O3 and did a bit of yellow and red sightseeing, then an ionstorm forced us to take cover (twice) and after that, we found some aliens and permanently stamped their dancecards.





Collected 26 guns in total and if we all averaged the same kills, we took care of about 198 unwelcome guests.

Inner Core Expedition #2559 - 2011-08-12

Here is short report from yesterday launched IC expedition.

Few hours earlier: Com central in NY received urgent message from SAOC for Vice-Admiral Forlon : "Sir, at 19:00 space time we had last contact with our storage. Pilot was on return route from Freeport1 back to SAOC when he near Planet Sprague noticed something. His last words were: "Something huge is coming to my radar, I try check what it is" After this moment we lost contact. We launched two patrol wings but they found only some ship hull parts and they were damaged by big weapon, probably particle. Human big ships did not use this type of weapon ... All parts were immediately sent to our Cambridge labs but it will need some time before we will have exact informations. Sir, we need you and our combat pilots here, something very bad is going on here. We noticed today early morning some weird fluctuation from Hypergate but because it was very short and nothing else happened, we thought that this is not important. But it looks we were wrong, maybe something slip here from Inner Core. I know that this should not be possible, but ..."

After receiving this sad news I decide to launch immediately short raid to Inner Core to check situation, acquire some "guns" and take also destroyed ship parts which can be send to Cambridge to compare. Available pilots for this mission were Lt.Commander Richard Ben Riddick and Ensign Raiden Caprica. We first did short raid to Dervon to ensure our ships are all friendly with Dom'Kavash and shortly after we entered Hypergate. In Inner Core we were lucky and our ship systems captured short signal incoming from one from three relay stations. This one had Dom'Setek and Savages coded signal signs. Maybe they are after all of this.

We continued to Venn, Jormdar, Mepther and Pyrrdra and meet huge amount of enemy patrols - big and small. Our total score must be above 200 destroyed doom fighters. Our small wing avoided fight with enemy Battleship groups. After we ended our run, we entered Weth and later relax in our sector in Mirtrrak Battle Station. We acquired in addition to needed dooms ships debris 26 dooms guns in total and they will be later transport back to our Home. I want personally congratulate both my wing members for theirs courage and very good combat skills. I want also warn all, that latest news shows that something changed and we all need to be on high alert all times. Is possible that in short time no one will be safe in places which we know as peaceful for long time. We will need go back to Inner Core soon again.

p.s.: All mission pilots will receive one Offensive action point.
